Funny how a handful of the finest can make such a mark.
The guys listed here are for real, they use the gear they believe to be the
best. No one tells them what to use.
From camo to guns, blinds to calls, they know how to make their own decisions, they live it every
day.
Some Pro Staff Teams dictate to their numbers what they can and can't use, we think that is funny as hell.

Thanks Team Longneck for all that you do each day for the sport of waterfowling. Brian
Hunter Cummings, Honorary Junior Team Longneck Member, New York
Due to all of the inquiries, I’d like to make the Team Longneck recruiting process known. We do not have an application process any longer, we have found out that that system doesn’t work well and it is hard to really get to know someone and their intentions by what they write on a paper.
Team Longneck is a small unit, we have a camera pro, a dog pro, an assistant to the dog pro, 2 call makers, a seminar staff, 3 film crews, youth representatives, conservation representatives and a video editor.
That covers a lot doesn’t it? We hunt together, film together and work together on a lot of issues and projects. Even off season we are always together working as a team to improve the sport of waterfowling.
Everyone scouts the same distances, has equal camera time and holds the same benefits.
To get recruited on the team you have to be recommended by an existing team member, he will bring it up as an issue to the team. At that point the team will offer input, do forum history posts checks, talk to people that have hunted with you, may even schedule a hunt with you to see what your all about.
Then we look at a few more things.
After all of that is complete, our Team leader will contact you and do a phone or in person interview and offer the position if it goes well.
Next is the commitment to each other, the support of our call makers, the support of our dog guy, the support of our youth programs and events has to be undeniable and apparent.
Bottom line is this, it takes a very long time to convince every team member of your dedication, is it possible? Absolutely, some have sold me in a few days, others have sold me over a few years. It is all based on you and what your definition of team is.
Are we closed to new members, no way we just take our time.
For those of you that are interested, I appreciate it very much.
